Dhaka, July 10, 2025 : The results of this year's SSC and equivalent examinations have been published. This time, a total of 1.33 lakh 3 thousand 426 students passed under 9 general education boards, madrasas and technical boards.
The average pass rate in the exam is 68.45 percent. The number of students with a GPA of 5 is 1,39,032.
Today, Thursday at 2 pm, each education board will simultaneously publish the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations.
This year, a total of 19 lakh 4 thousand 86 students participated in this examination under the 9 general education boards of the country, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board. Out of these, 9 lakh 51 thousand 697 students participated. Of them, 6 lakh 26 thousand 981 passed. The pass rate is 65.88 percent. 65 thousand 416 students got GPA 5.
This year, the number of students who participated in the exam is 9 lakh 52 thousand 389. Of them, 6 lakh 76 thousand 445 passed. The pass rate is 71.03 percent. 73 thousand 616 students got GPA 5.
This year, across all education boards, female students passed 3.79 percent more than male students, and 8,200 more female students received a GPA of 5.
This time, 427 candidates participated in 8 foreign centers. Of them, 373 passed. The pass rate is 87.35 percent.
Out of 1,479,310 candidates in the 9 general education boards, 1,06,554 have passed. The pass rate is 68.4 percent. In these 9 boards, 1,25,018 candidates have obtained GPA 5.
This year, 195,115 students have passed the Madrasa Education Board. The pass rate is 68.09 percent. 9,066 students have obtained GPA 5 in this education board.
Out of 138,204 candidates, 1,1757 passed the Technical Education Board examination. The pass rate is 73.63 percent. 4,948 students in this board got GPA 5.
This year, the pass rate of Dhaka Board is 67.51 percent, the pass rate of Rajshahi Board is 77.63 percent, the pass rate of Comilla Board is 63.60 percent, the pass rate of Jessore Board is 73.69 percent, the pass rate of Chittagong Board is 72.07 percent, the pass rate of Barisal Board is 56.38 percent, the pass rate of Sylhet Board is 68.57 percent, the pass rate of Dinajpur Board is 67.03 percent, the pass rate of Mymensingh Board is 58.22 percent, the pass rate of Madrasa Education Board is 68.09 percent and the pass rate of Technical Education Board is 73.63 percent.
This year, 984 educational institutions have achieved 100% pass rate.
This afternoon, in the meeting room of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Board Chairman Professor Dr. Khandokar Ehsanul Kabir said, 'The results that have been published are real and true. No one has been asked to give any kind of extra marks. Overall, the real picture has emerged from the results this time.'
He said, "We will not say what happened before. However, the information we have given now is the real one. What happened has been presented. We have no hand in this. There was no pressure from any quarters on us. We have been told that whatever result is there, we will have to give it. We have conveyed this request to the examiners. They have been asked to evaluate the records properly."
This time, no formalities were held to announce the results of the SSC and equivalent exams.
This year, the SSC and equivalent exams began on April 10 and continued until May 15.
