Nilphamari, August 9, 2025: A workshop titled 'Role of temple-based children's and mass education programs in achieving sustainable development goals and promoting moral education' was held in the district today.
The day-long workshop was held at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium from 10 am today, Saturday.
The workshop, organized by the District Temple-Based Children and Mass Education Program, was attended by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Mu.A. Awal Hawlader.
At this time, Deputy Director of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust Md. Hamidur Rahman delivered the welcome speech at the workshop presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Jyoti Bikash Chandra.
Among others, Nitya Prakash Biswas, Deputy Project Director of Temple-Based Children and Mass Education Program, Gautam Chandra Banik, Trustee of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, Project Director Srikant Kumar Chanda, and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nilphamari Sadar Police Station, MR Sayeed, among others, delivered speeches.
Participants in this workshop presented various recommendations for improving the quality of the centers.
A total of 150 people, including members of the Central Monitoring Committee, local public representatives, voluntary organizations, and media representatives, participated in the day-long workshop.
