is the birthday of custom officer and fiction writer Arun Kumar Biswas. Arun Kumar Biswas is an incredibly lively and sensitive person. He started writing while he was in college. He used to write regular columns in the now defunct Bangladesh Observer newspaper. He writes rhymes, stories, adventure novels, ghost stories and detective stories for children and teenagers in various national dailies and magazines. He writes regular columns in a humorous style on contemporary issues. He has a lot of writings on humorous writing and teenage adventures. However, he is a special fan of detective stories. A smart and intelligent detective character like 'Feluda', 'Alokesh Roy' is his private detective, whose novels 'Jalppi', 'Coffeemaker', 'Alim Beger Khuli', 'Anal Mitra's Untimely Death', 'Psychopath', 'Gupti' have gained special readership. There is also 'Goyenda Gublu'.
Arun Kumar Biswas's efforts have already made his debut by writing a detective story called Detective Club. A quarterly magazine titled Aamer Goyenda has come. The number of books written by the author so far is close to 150. He received the 'Award for Excellence' from Notre Dame College in recognition of his merit, the 'Certificate of Distinction' from the University of London, and the 'ACI-Anand Alo Literary Award, 2018' initiated by Channel I for his spy novel. This year he received the 'Jigisha Literary Award'. In fact, he believes in the library movement, not the library.
Arun Kumar Biswas was born in the village of Jahor in Kandi, Ramshil Union, Kotalipara Upazila, Gopalganj district. Father Bankim Chandra Biswas and mother Malati Devi. His colorful childhood and adolescence were spent in the loving care of his teacher parents. He was a student of Notre Dame College. He did his post-graduate degree with honors in English literature from Dhaka University. He did his masters again in international human resource management in London. He is currently working as the Rangpur Customs Commissioner. His wife Dr. Tapati Mandal. Two sons Aniket and Agnish. They also write. The entire writer family.
