Photo exhibition on Khaleda Zia's life of struggle begins in Rangpur



Rangpur, January 27, 2026 (BSS): A two-day photo exhibition has begun in Rangpur to showcase the story of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's journey from an ordinary housewife to the complex stage of the country's politics, serving as Prime Minister three times.

This exhibition, organized at the district level by the Bogra Media and Cultural Society, Dhaka, was inaugurated today, Tuesday at 5 pm. 

Rangpur BNP convener and BNP candidate for Rangpur-3 constituency Shamsuzzaman Samu inaugurated the two-day photography exhibition at the Rangpur Town Hall grounds.

M Aminul Islam, Joint General Secretary of Bogra Media and Cultural Society, Dhaka, gave this information in a press release sent to the media on behalf of the organization.

The exhibition features more than a hundred stills from various episodes of Begum Khaleda Zia's family and political life. A special documentary on her life is also being screened.

According to the organizers, the young generation is interested in learning about Begum Khaleda Zia's governance and political life. This photography exhibition has been organized at the district level based on that interest.

The opening ceremony was attended by the organization's joint general secretary M Aminul Islam, theater secretary Bivan Badal, district volunteer party convener Al Imran Sujan. Liton Parvez and local BNP leaders, as well as people from different classes and professions, were present. After the ceremony, the guests signed the condolence book.
