Truck-based music concert organized to motivate voters in Rangpur
Rangpur, January 24, 2026 : The Divisional Information Office, Rangpur, has taken an exceptional initiative in the district to raise awareness among voters ahead of the upcoming referendum and the 13th National Parliament Election-2026.
A truck-based music concert was inaugurated on Saturday at the office premises of the Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer to motivate voters.
Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer, Mohammad Enamul Ahsan, was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.
At that time, he said, the main strength of democracy is the active participation of the people. It is very important to make voters aware and motivated to ensure fair, free and acceptable elections. He expressed hope that this musical concert will create interest among the common people about voting rights.
Organized by the Divisional Information Office District, the program highlighted the election message, voting rights, the importance of referendum and the need to vote as a responsible citizen. Patriotic songs and election-related motivational songs were played on the sound system installed in the truck, which would circle various important roads of the city.
The event was attended by officials from various levels of the district administration, including the officers and employees of the Divisional Information Office. The organizers said that this program will create a positive image of the elections among the general public and will play a helpful role in increasing voter turnout.
