 Lions Club of Rangpur President Elected Manzil Murad Lavlu

Staff Reporter: Poet and lyricist Lion Manzil Murad Lavlu MJF has been elected as the club president of the Lions Club of Rangpur for the Lionist year (2026-2027). He was unanimously elected as the president at the club meeting on Monday night. In the meeting, freedom fighter Major (Retd) Lion Nasim Uddin was elected as the first vice president and Lion Shariful Islam Babu was elected as the second vice president and club secretary Lion Ahsanul Habib Milan MJF and club treasurer Lion Umme Habiba Mahfuza Akhtari Smriti were elected. Lion Manzil Murad Lavlu joined Lionism 15 years ago and has been an active organizer since he was associated with the Lions Club. Lavlu is also an active organizer of Sammilit Lekhak Samaj Rangpur and is serving as the general secretary of the National Poetry Council. Meanwhile, City Press Club Rangpur President Swapan Chowdhury, General Secretary Humayun Kabir Manik, Chandsik General Secretary Sohanur Rahman Shahin, Mouchak Editor and Lyricist Rezaul Karim Jibon, Chhara Sangsad Rangpur Matiar Rahman, Chhara Editor Lyricist SM Khalil Babu, National Poetry Council President Braj Gopal Roy, Vice President Mousumi Shankar Rita, Lyon Sangeet Academy Founding Director Farhan Shahil Lyon, Rangpur Sahitya Academy General Secretary Journalist Shah Alam congratulated Manjil Murad Lavlu on being elected president of the Lions Club Rangpur.
