New administrators of 5 city corporations pay courtesy call on Prime Minister

Dhaka, March 14, 2026 (BSS): Newly appointed administrators of five city corporations paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The government has appointed administrators to five more city corporations in the country. A notification in this regard was issued today (March 14) Saturday. Afterwards, the newly appointed administrators at the Prime Minister's Office at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam MP was present at the time. The newly appointed administrators are Advocate Bilkis Akhter Jahan Shirin in Barisal City Corporation, Md. Mahfuzur Rahman Riton in Rajshahi City Corporation, Md. Rokonuzzaman Rokon in Mymensingh City Corporation, Mahmud Un Nabi Chowdhury Don in Rangpur City Corporation and Md. Yusuf Molla Tipu in Comilla City Corporation.
