Rangpur City Corporation cleaners receive Prime Minister's gift money

Rangpur: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has distributed Tk 5,000 each as an Eid gift to the cleaners of Rangpur City Corporation. A total of 855 cleaners of Rangpur City Corporation were given Tk 5,000 each, totaling Tk 42.75 lakh as an Eid gift.

The Eid gifts were distributed at the Rangpur City Corporation premises on Tuesday (March 17) afternoon. Rangpur City Corporation Administrator Mahfuz Un Nabi Chowdhury Don was present as the chief guest at the event.

At the time, the administrator said that the contribution of the cleaners is very important in keeping the city clean and livable. Rangpur city remains clean and tidy every day due to their relentless work. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has taken this initiative to show respect and gratitude to them on the occasion of Eid. We are happy to add a new dimension to the happiness of the sanitation workers because of that initiative.

He also said, sanitation workers are an important part of city life. Rangpur City Corporation is always working to ensure their welfare and dignity. Just as Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is by their side, I am also by their side as the administrator of Rangpur City Corporation and will be by their side as long as I am there. At this time, he expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

Meanwhile, the sanitation workers were happy to receive 5 taka each from the Prime Minister. They wished the Prime Minister well during this time.
