Thakurgaon is an underdeveloped district on the northern border of the country. The lack of industrialization in this agriculture-based region has left the economy behind, and the disadvantaged children here have also been left behind. Especially since four of the five upazilas in the district are located near the border, there are few opportunities for education and training, as a result, these children do not get the opportunity to advance even if they are talented.

In such a reality, ESDO's 'Game Changer Project' is working tirelessly to develop the talents of poor and underprivileged children in Ranishankail Upazila of Thakurgaon. This project is opening the doors of new possibilities by providing free training, materials and advice to children to enhance their creative skills in music, dance and sports.

Three education centers - More than a hundred children are getting the opportunity to improve their skills in music and dance. Regular music and dance training is being provided through three education centers in Ranishankail under the implementation of Eco Social Development Organization (ESDO). Here, there is a harmonium, tabla, sound system, dance jewelry, and skilled instructors—everything is free. As a result, new enthusiasm and confidence have been created among the children. In continuation of this, the children of this center have achieved incredible success in Bangladesh Television's popular competition 'Notun Kuri'—7 people have secured places in dance. 4 people in music, 1 in recitation.

With the support of the Game Changer Project, the under-17 players of the Rangatungi United Women's Football Academy are receiving bicycles, footballs, boots, jerseys and other sports equipment for transportation, nutritious meals after practice every day, and a grant of 10,000 taka to 10 poor players. After receiving this benefit, their sports lives have changed.

Rangatungi Academy is already the JFA Cup champion at the Rangpur divisional level, runner-up at the national level. In addition, 2 players are in the U-17 national team, 1 in the national team, and 7 are getting the opportunity to train at BKSP. Jaba Roy, a player at Rangatungi Academy, said, "It used to be difficult to go to the field from a distance. Now that we have bicycles and sports equipment, practicing has become easier. We will be able to give something better to the country." Music students Shreya Roy and Mimi Basak said, "The teacher teaches with great care. I am able to practice regularly because I have musical instruments."

Dance student Jannatun Ferdous Manisha said, "Dance was not learned due to lack of money. Game Changer gave us free training. Now we have the opportunity to participate in new bud and betaar."

District Cultural Officer Alamgir Kabir told Dhaka Mail, "The work that ESDO is doing in developing the talent of underprivileged children is truly commendable. Such initiatives will bring about a huge change at the grassroots." ESDO Founder and Executive Director Dr. Muhammad Shahid Uz Zaman said, "Children in rural areas of Bangladesh are lost before they can show their talent due to lack of opportunities. The Game Changer Project is opening new horizons for them. We are now seeing the benefits of this - many are achieving success at the departmental, national and international levels. Similarly, in the field of culture, a large portion of these children in their new twenties have already received a yes card. If our talented children spread across the grassroots can be properly nursed, they can change this country."

Students of the Rangatungi United Women's Football Academy and the GameChanger Project are now making their mark in the national and international arenas.

According to those concerned, if such initiatives are further expanded, disadvantaged children in remote rural areas will also be able to play an important role in building a creative and developed nation.
