Staff Reporter: BNP leader and Thakurgaon-2 constituency MP Dr. Md. Abdus Salam said that a comprehensive action plan has been taken to revamp the country's medical services on the instructions of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Work has already started according to that plan. The current government is determined to ensure that every citizen of the country can easily receive good treatment.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the Doa and Iftar Mahfil organized by the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Rangpur at the Rangpur Medical College campus on Thursday.

He also said that we, who are doctors, have a lot of responsibility on our shoulders. Therefore, we have to take medical services as human services. At this time, he drew the Prime Minister's attention to the conversion of the Medical College in Rangpur into a university with the aim of improving health and education in the northern villages.
